Positive: Terrific terrace and view of the beach, great location, very comfortable bed, cosy room, good kitchen, nice that beach towels and chairs provided.

Negative: The process for paying was confusing, frustrating and inefficient. Payment is by cash only but it wasn't clear that you have to have USD in cash and then physically go to a place a couple of blocks away to make the payment in person. But ATMs weren't working at the time (as often happens in Uruguay) so couldn't get any cash out. I wasted a lot of them and completely unnecessarily so. In the end, I was able to pay by PayPal. It's 2025, we should just be able to pay by card. I also sent some polite and constructive feedback to the manager about a few things that could be improved in the accommodation to make life easier/better for future guests, but received no reply or acknowledgement.
